Master class précongres

Master class, April 15-17, 2010
The role of journalism in both developed and developing countries
Within the 54th annual congress of the IFAJ in Ostend, Belgium, the organisers - in close cooperation with agri-agencies Trias (Belgium), Agriterra (Netherlands) and Afdi (France) - offer you a unique series of workshops. The whole of the workshops will be held as a so called master class. Although particularly developed for the attending agricultural journalists from developing countries, the programme is also of interest for all of us, so don’t pass on this opportunity!
Members of IFAJ who come earlier to the congress are request to attend the programm!
Why attend? Because this series of workshops will learn you more about the importance of farmers’ organisations and cooperatives, on agriculture in the society and on how to communicate with members. It will also prepare you for the symposium on Agricultural journalism (on the 20th) and for the seminar on the EC on agricultural policy (on the 22th post congress). And besides that, it will learn you about the differences in journalism in your country and for instance DR Congo!
The word ‘workshops’ is chosen also for the word ‘work’. You will be actively involved and discuss the above mentioned items with your colleagues from abroad. When does this take place?
