• Visit to the 'Westhoek' - scenery of the Great War : From 1914 to 1918 the "Westhoek" was the scene of the Great War. Hundreds of thousands of soldiers of more than 20 nationalities fell in this conflict.
• Farmers confronted with the past :  Still today farmers plough up bombs from this Great War.
• Attending the Last Post, the traditional salute to the fallen warrior
• Visit to Milcobel: the biggest dairy corporation in Belgium
• Dinner in Ypres

Thursday April 22 - Europe, the present (Brussels)

• Symposium: 'Future of the Common Agricultural Policy' organized by the European Commission (morning)
